Aditya Dev Sood, the founder and CEO of the Centre for Knowledge Societies in India, spoke about how technology can change Indian society at the What Design Can Do conference in Amsterdam. He believes that challenges in education, governance, healthcare and infrastructure can only be solved by design solutions that don’t yet exist, but need to be developed. Dev Sood also emphasises that First World technologies can’t simply be repurposed for Third World problems.
