Han Feng talks fashion

From Nanjing to New York, fashion designer Han Feng talks about making it big, costume design and Asian influences in Western fashion.

Asian-inspired fashion designer Han Feng talks about the journey that took her from China to New York, her first job at Blomingdale's,  developing her own fashion label and designing costumes for film and opera.

Learning from different experiences helped my development as a fashion designer, says Feng.

Having conquered designs for Anthony Mingella’s The Talented Mr Ripley and Madame Butterfly as well as The Bonesetter’s Daughter and Semele, Feng has come along way since her first job at Bloomingdale's in 1985.
