StandardTsai Design Studio is the winner of a Red Dot Award and 'The Most Beautiful Object in South Africa' 2008 for its Nested Bunk Beds. The studio strives to produce provocative designs that are unconventional yet instilled with a strong sense of cultural and social relevance, particularly in South Africa. Tsai Design Studio is run by Y Tsai, a designer who takes a multidisciplinary approach to generating creative solutions in the field of furniture, interior design and architecture.
