DRIFT unveils Wind of Change, a large-scale light art installation at Jubail Island in Abu Dhabi. This luminous aerial performance features 2,000 drones tracing the invisible forces that shape our world. They mimic an unseen current, mapping wind patterns and oceanic movements across the night sky.
Inspired by how wind sculpts the region's iconic sand dunes, the drones' choreography evolves into ab aerial dance guided by nature's rhythms.
In a closing ode, the swarm unites into a single figure, the falcon, Abu Dhabi's enduring symbol. As it soars overhead, the falcon dissolves into a luminous vortex suspended above the city. From this vortex, seeds drift downward, taking root and blooming into the cityscape, a nod to the endless cycles of movement, transformation and renewal that define our world.
