For many people there’s nothing quite like a cup of tea when you need it, think comfort and happiness. Eindhoven-based, Japanese industrial designer Yuya Ushida has taken the everyday ritual of drinking tea and turned it into something rather novel.
The Paper Tea Set is a collection of interesting tea elements, all made from a single, coated sheet of paper. The design uses biodegradable cotton string and wooden ball.
Ushida explains that each graphic element on the sheet of paper also functions as a “hidden message”, giving extra value to the folds.
