Sweet seat

The Snowjob chair is made of sweet wrappers that would otherwise have been discarded.

Mexican designer Emiliano Godoylab’s Snowjob Chair is both spectacular-looking and environmentally friendly.

Comprising two main components, the wooden frame structure that form the legs and general support is made with FSC-certified wood and a vegetable-based, biodegradable finish.

The second component, the cover of the frame, is made with a material called Ecoist. This green material results from the hand formation of small pieces of waste from sweet wrappers. This slip cover is then reinforced with post-consumer recycled paper on the inside, making the seat both durable and comfortable.

The seat can also be folded in half and flat-packed, making it ideal for storage and easy transporting.
