The Sapeurs or Societe des Ambianceurs et Personnes Elegantes can be described as an association of mostly men, in the Congo, who have developed a sense of style and elegance based on African principles translated into Western clothing. Despite financial resources they obtain clothing that allows them to demonstrate a presentation that might be described as “dandy”.
Is the Global Africa Project going to be shown elsewhere? Europe? South Africa?
