Engaging with the topic of connections, transport and movement, designer Adriaan Hugo created a unique 3D puzzle sculpture for the Transport Square outside Ellis Park in Johannesburg. The sculpture is a permanent fixture above the ticketing and info office, which serves as a hub for train commuters, taxis and buses. It was commissioned by the Jo’burg Development Agency as part of the inner city regeneration project for the 2010 World Cup. Hugo is widely known for his work with Katy Taplin under the Dokter and Misses label.
