Naomi Doras is a digital artist who creates visuals where black girl magic and Afrofuturism meet. Known as Nomes Dee, the creative graphic illustrator works out of Lusaka, combining her Zambian heritage with Japanese anime and global pop culture.
She celebrates every background, creating works that are ethereal, out of this world and unconventional. Speaking to OkayAfrica last year, she described her creations as an ode to carefree agency:
