Office intelligence

"Locale" for Herman Miller generously accommodates multiple collaborators, work styles and tools.

Encouraging the free and intuitive shift from individual work to collaborative and social activities, Industrial Facility’s office furniture is ideal for the modern office.

London-based design firm Industrial Facility have designed an intelligent office system for Herman Miller. The collection encompasses a series of tables, chairs and lights, which consider the seamless shifting from individual workspaces to open-plan office environments.

Locale expresses subtly curved components connecting various areas and ultimately provides a less rigid feel to the office.

Locale makes working together more productive and pleasurable by intelligently organising the office into social clusters that allow for free movement, variety and adjustability, says Don Goeman, Herman Miller’s executive vice president.

Locale was on previewed at NeoCon 2013 earlier this year.
