Mind-blowing books

A book must be pretty inspiring to blow your mind out of the back of you head. But then again, they are Biblioteq Books after all.

A book must be quite inspiring to blow your mind out of the back of you head. But then again, they are Biblioteq Books after all.

This campaign from FoxP2, voted Financial Mail’s Agency of the Year 2008, was showcased at the 2010 Design Indaba – a perfect Biblioteq market for creatives in all disciplines.

Bruno Bossi, a film director at Egg Films, took on the challenge of photographing the campaign as a retro stills shoot. To capture the real effect of 1950s photography, the photos were originally shot in black and white. The colour was added afterwards in flat panels using the classic technique of photo painting, which was used before colour photography was readily available.

Charlotte Collins did the 1950s styling, while Johanni Nel did hair and make-up; both are from creative representation agency, Infidels. Bruno Bossi and producer Kirsten Clarence were responsible for the casting and Andrew Whitehouse, Peter Walker and Justin Gomes are the Foxes behind the work.
