The Milkmaid, made by Guido Ooms of Studio OOOMS and Davy Grosemans, was inspired by Johannes Vermeer’s painting Het Melkmeisje. Commissioned by the Dutch souvenir project and initiated by the European Ceramic Workcentre, the ceramic Delft Blue dildo with a cork is both a sex toy and a piece of art. This glazed porcelain keepsake wit Delft’s blue motifs has been shown in Milan, New York, London and Amsterdam, so there’s no need to keep it in the drawer. Put it on display – it’s bound to be a great conversation starter.
