The Night Night lamp, designed by Belgium-based designer Vanessa Hordies, could work as a great sleeping partner.
Taking the form of an hourglass, the sand inside Night Night works to gradually cover the actual light, thus steadily reducing the luminosity of the room. When the Night Night is turned over, the timer switches on for 15 minutes, about the time it takes the average person to fall asleep.
The electronics that make the Night Night work are all built into the light’s wooden base. When the button is pushed to turn the light on, the 15 minute countdown begins to when it automatically switches off.
