Saving resources is Italian designer Lorenzo Damiani’s mission. His exhibition at the Milan Furniture Fair last month was titled “New Life” and considered material associations.
The installation was made entirely of pressboard and sought to draw attention to the way that we perceive materials and the way in which we associate them with a monetary value, rather than looking at all our resources as being equally valuable. Visitors simply had to look at the beautifully designed pressboard objects to understand the message.
