Happy Birthday Madiba is the title of Hennie Meyer’s ceramic work that consists of 93 small vases, finished in a variety of vibrant colours.
The 93 vases each represent a year of Nelson Mandela’s life and serve as a birthday message to the iconic statesman.
The vases were created for the David Walters and Friends exhibition at the William Humphreys Art Gallery in Kimberley, which opens on 27 July 2011.
