Grolsch celebrates creativity

Grolsch, a proud sponsor of Design Indaba, celebrate 400 years of creativity.

Design Indaba is a global highlight on the calendar of all those who celebrate and appreciate innovation, creativity and world-class design. Grolsch is a proud sponsor of Design Indaba this year, marking its 400th anniversary and the culmination of a year-long support programme for contemporary art and design in South Africa.

Four centuries of innovation and unconventional thinking have made Grolsch a favourite among those who believe in the power of creativity. In the past year it has collaborated with numerous galleries, artist collectives and art fairs around South Africa to celebrate urban creativity.

To celebrate its 400th anniversary, Grolsch is pleased to announce limited-edition packaging that will be available from April as part of an artist initiative undertaken on a global scale. Grolsch flew artists from all over the world to Amsterdam and asked them to recreate the Grolsch bottle. The end result was an outstanding collage of images that forms part of the new Grolsch look you can expect to see in April.

Grolsch invites delegates and attendees to enjoy an ice-cold beer at the Grolsch Bar at this year’s Design Indaba Expo and at Design Indabar across from the CTICC. 

For those who love to draw there is also an evening of doodling fun to be had at the Grolsch stand at the Expo, where Grolsch’s Creative Headspace Competition invites you to imagine 400 years of Grolsch on the creative space of a draught glass and submit your design live. So make sure you pop in and give Grolsch a #Cheersch in your own creative way at Design Indaba Festival 2015!
