As part of the recent Art Basil Week 2013, Cape Town-based street artist Faith47 unveiled two new artworks at the Wynwood Walls’ Women On The Walls exhibition in Miami, US.
Wynwood Walls, a outdoor mural project and gallery, invited an all-female contingent of street artists for this exhibition that highlighted the contribution of women to street art as well as their unique perspectives.
Faith47 is well-known for creating bold and though-provoking murals in desolate and abandoned urban areas. In these latest pieces, "Reductio ad Infinitum" and "Multum in Parvo", the female figure takes centre stage and she makes extensive use of the colour gold.
