Exploring natural materials, Jaime Hayón designed a selection of modern furniture pieces that reveal bold and elegant proportions.
Hayón teamed up with furniture brand Sé to create pieces that explore the natural evolution and progression of the brand. Hayón selected the finest materials to ensure products are enduring and visually rich.
Inspired by an interest in natural materials, Hayón reworked his Beetley collection opting for French Walnut wood as the main material. Originally designed in metal, the collection now contrasts the natural grain of wood with the refined upholstery of the designs. To extend the range, Hayón added a bar stool and bench to the collection.
Working between textures and surfaces, Hayón’s “Arpa” footstool and Bala collection explores a variety of materials and finishes. The elegant “Bala Lo” and “Cristal Bala” side tables are designed using ceramic bases and glass tops, available in metallic and coloured enamel finishes.
Hayón’s new designs were showcased by Super Brands London, a fair-trade fair for established global design brands at the London Design Festival earlier this year.
