Future 50

Neville Brody has created a new modular logo for D&AD, in celebration of their 50th anniversary.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of D&AD, Neville Brody has created a new logo for the creative organisation that supports UK and international design talent.

The new identity and logo is called Forward 50, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to “50 years of looking forward”. The new logo was designed as /50 so that it can function as a “modular” addition to the existing D&AD identity. This modular system allows a clear way of writing the story as D&AD/50 without the addition of another logo.

Brody chose to set the design in Futura, what he calls a “timeless and yet simultaneously contemporary” font.
