The Frame Awards 2019 will honour the world’s best interiors

The international jury includes former Design Indaba speaker, Yinka Ilori.

Next year’s edition of The Frame Awards, the first and only global interior-design awards, will be taking place in Amsterdam in February to honour the world’s best interior projects. For this second edition of awards their main mission is to celebrate projects that push the boundaries of interior architecture on a truly global scale.

This year, a new category has been added to honouring Residences. Next year’s edition will include the awards for House of the Year, Large Apartment of the Year, Small Apartment of the Year, Co-Living Space of the Year as well as Entertainment Venue of the Year.

The Honorary Awards category has also been opened for submissions. Clients and designers will be able to submit themselves and their colleagues for three awards: Emerging Designer of the Year, Designer of the Year, and Client of the Year.

Alongside Frame Awards, Frame Lab: The Next Space, will offer guests the opportunity to expand their spatial awareness where they can discover the future of spaces through an immersive blend of talks,multisensorial exhibitions and workshops. This year’s panel of expert, which values diversity in design disciplines and in personal perspectives, will feature designers, manufacturers and clients.

These experts include Anny Wang of Wang & Söderström, Paola Navone of Paola Navone, David Rockwell of Rockwell Group as well as former Design Indaba speaker Yinka Ilori, among many others.
