Doodlers

Grab your friends, your pens, your sketchbook, your camera and a picnic basket and head down to the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens at the Rose Gardens on Johannesburg this Sunday 2 October 2011.

1000 Drawings presents “Doodle in the Park” from 14:00 to 18:30 and encourages folks to spend a leisurely afternoon doing drawings and taking photographs that can be donated to the 1000 Drawings exhibition, which will take place on 11 November 2011.

The one-night exhibition aims to raise money for charities by selling A5 drawings donated by the public. The works of students, well-known artists, aspiring artists, novices, rich, poor, old young, will be sold for R 100.00 each in order to raise funds for the number of charities that 1000 Drawings support
