Kiran Bir Sethi does it for the kids

Feel it, imagine it, do it and then share it. That’s what Kiran Bir Sethi is urging children to do to make the world a better place.

Kiran Bir Sethi is a designer who became a teacher, a principal who grew into an education reformer and subsequently morphed into a social entrepreneur.

Her Design Thinking Challenge has children across the world saying “I can”. Here she talks about projects that have mobilised children to feel, imagine, do and share in ways that could help to improve their communities.

From stopping child marriages, to tackling loneliness; from illiteracy to caring for the elderly. They were changing the bad and making it good, says Bir Sethi.

She talks about the effective results when common sense becomes common practice.

Bir Sethi also tells of the aProCh project that brings out the protagonist in every child. As a result, stories of it's success have poured in from all over the world.
