Food Design looks at how form, colour, smell, consistency, manufacturing techniques and history influence food design. The film encourages the discipline of food design to be considered alongside product designs, on par with Armani suits and Alessi coffee cups. Food Design invites the audience to take part in a sensual journey through the wonderful world of food, exploring all its processes, techniques and stories.
At the 2012 What Design Can Do conference in Amsterdam we interviewed the creators of the film, architects Martin Hablesreiter and Sonja Stummerer (also known as “Honey & Bunny”). Take a look!
