Show us what makes you an individual. Is it your heritage, your friends, your family? Is it what you love, your memories, your passions? Perhaps it’s the town you grew up in, or the languages you speak? It could be all of them; it could be one of them. What makes you an individual is what makes you different.
-
Creatively capture your individuality in any way you like. If it’s a 3D object that sums you up, photograph it. If it’s a whole lot of them, make a collage. Write a poem, tell a story, draw, sew, knit, paint. Just make sure that whatever you create can ultimately be fitted into your profile pic. If you create your entry inside your profile, please realise that whatever is outside of it will get cut off.
-
If your entry is 2D scan it to your computer, if you'd rather take a photo of it, take a pic and save it to your computer, just make sure your artwork is in portrait format, and not horizontal.
-
Click on “Try out here”, fill in the online entry form and upload your entry, along with a photo of yourself shot in profile. Neither your entry nor your photo must be more than 10 MB in size.
Get your friends and family to vote for you. The team will be announced at the Expo 26-28 February. Conference 24-26 February 2010.

-
Stand sideways against a light background. It could be a white wall, a pale curtain, a draped sheet.
-
Make sure you’re standing about a ruler’s length from the wall to avoid casting a shadow.
-
Looking directly ahead, get a friend to take a shot of you. (Stick your tongue out, wear a cap, smile, or pout – what’s important is that the photo captures the essence of you.)
-
Check that the pic is clear.
-
Upload it along with your entry.
