Our commitment to making a quality difference stretches across our entire business, from sourcing and operations to food and fashion. We’re not only working towards using only sustainably sourced or recycled wood products throughout our operations, we also use packaging material from well-managed and/or controlled sources.
We’re proud that we only use UTZ-certified cocoa – sourced from responsible and environmentally sound cocoa farms – in our private label boxes, slabs and bars of chocolate. And, our BCI and Organic Cotton is sourced from farmers who grow cotton in a way that reduces stress on the local environment and improves the livelihoods of farming communities.
Equal to our obsession with quality, is our passion for design. We believe that design can make a real difference by contributing to our country’s economy and helping solve critical challenges facing South Africa today. That’s why, in addition to our longstanding sponsorship of Design Indaba, we’re committed to enriching design education, mentoring young designers and supporting local talent.
