Tyler Yeo, a student of the University of Pretoria, is creating a name for himself and the brand he believes in. This young designer aspires to work with brands that see design as a remedy for the world’s ills instead of exacerbating them — he's working on a Master’s degree on this topic specifically. He spends most of his time exploring how design can be used in a meaningful way.
Before pursuing his Master's, Tyler spent 4 years earning his degree in Architecture. The Pretoria based designer co-founded the brand ‘Satori’, a notebook company that emphasises sustainability, locality, and using design to make a positive impact. Satori aspires to create the first sustainably produced, completely South African notebooks.
