The Plastics are an indie rock band from Cape Town. They will be launching the Design Indaba Music Circuit as the first band to play at this inaugural event.

Mix n Blend
A two-man army mashing all sorts of styles together, with effects units and samplers included – Mix n Blend feature on the 2013 Design Indaba Music Circuit.
Hailing from the dusty streets of Mitchell’s Plain in the heart of the notorious Cape Flats, Niskerone is dubbed "King of The Underground Drum & Bass Jungle".

The Nomadic Orchestra is a five-piece instrumental dance band based in Cape Town.
Wild Eastern Arches
Wild Eastern Arches is psychedelic rock 'n' roll band. They will be performing on the Design Indaba Music Circuit.
Bilderberg Motel brings a sound they call Americana, a sloppy mix of various genres stemming from their revivalist intentions.

Honey B has been a relentless crusader for the “Cape Town sound” for as long as people have recognised it.
Haezer is an electronic music DJ who will be performing on the Design Indaba Music Circuit.
