Lynette Nkateko is a Johannesburg-born urban designer. While she spent some years gaining expertise in the world of fashion under designer Ernest Mahomane, Nkateko is interested in the complex and far-reaching world of city building.
Nkateko hopes to change the way people view the socio-economical aspects of architecture and urban design, wanting to highlight often overlooked influence that this kind of design has on human nature. She hopes to demonstrate the impact that city planners have on the day-to-day lives of ordinary citizens.
