The marketing visionaries behind Daddy’s World, Jody Aufrichtig and Nick Ferguson, work on bringing their wildest imaginings to life. They can claim, among other disciplines, to be hoteliers, property group partners, private equity company shareholders and, surprisingly, they both actually trained as accountants.
The Daddy’s World duo represents the industry of spaces; whether hotels, offices, retail or holding spaces. As creatively as possible they decide how to manage and fill them in a way that adds value to peoples’ lives. One of their many successes is the revamping of Cape Town’s Old Biscuit Mill. The duo turned a rundown Woodstock factory into Cape Town’s busiest farmers market. When Long Street was still considered a no-go area, they had the foresight to buy properties. One of which has become the renowned Daddy Long Legs Boutique Hotel and another, the Grand Daddy Hotel, home to a rooftop fantasy trailer park and cinema.
