Leopard's Leap becomes the taste of the town

Leopard's Leap were the proud wine suppliers of the 2011 Design Indaba Dine-Around.

One of the factors that have contributed to the continued success of Design Indaba is the innovative brand extensions that not only interact with new audiences year after year, but also involve the host city and its various communities.

One such innovation is the Design Indaba Dine-Around experience, which saw esteemed Design Indaba speakers and media enjoy a feast of South African cuisine paired with Leopard’s Leap wines.

High on the agenda for the guest speakers and international media when they arrive in the Mother City is the Design Indaba Dine-Around, an experience conceived by the creative team behind Design Indaba. The evening sees a host of Cape Town personalities create a dining experience in their homes for a small group of international delegates and media.

Pairing guests with hosts, the Dine-Around is filled with the flavours of the Cape, authentic South African hospitality and wines sourced locally from the region. This year, 19 hosts including Chris Weylandt and Mariette du Toit-Helmbold, raised their glasses and toasted to South Africa, Cape Town, creativity and new friendships with a selection of Leopard’s Leap wines.

“What a unique way to experience all the beauty the Cape has to offer”, says Hein Koegelenberg, CEO of Leopard’s Leap. “We are very proud of have Leopard’s Leap witness the forging of friendships and meeting of the minds. Especially some of the most creative minds that drive trends both locally and internationally.”
