Kalk Bay Modern is a vibrant gallery opposite the harbour in Kalk Bay, specialising in contemporary San Art, from lino prints to oil paintings. Director Cheryl Rumbak, in association with the OMBA Arts Trust, has developed a range of textiles incorporating contemporary San motifs in the Ekoka range, created by the Kung Bushmen living in remote settlements in north central Namibia. The sale of the Ekoka products provides an income for the artist and a Community Trust Fund.
