Foschini, in collaboration with African Fashion International (AFI), launched the Foschini AFI Fastrack competition in 2011 with the vision of creating a platform for talented young designers to kick-start their careers in the fashion retail industry. Students from design schools in Johannesburg and Cape Town submit their best work to a panel of curators, with the top designers earning the opportunity to showcase their designs on the runway at JHB Fashion Week & Cape Town Fashion Week, and the winners receiving a 6 week internship at the TFG Design Centre.
