Clay art studio is situated in Rondebosch, where ceramicist and owner, Sonja Moore, and her assistant are responsible for the ceramic production. Each item in the tableware range is 100% handmade and created in a delicate, whimsical style, which gives each piece its special character. The design is applied on each piece, glazed and then fired at stoneware temperature. The tableware are therefore all oven and dishwasher safe. Over and above the tableware range, aloe leave sculptures are also handmade. Sonja's theme is freedom, sprout and grow. She spends funfilled hours developing ceramics in studio and her signature design is a bird on a wire & fynbos that appears on each item. The organically shaped kitchen range is available in white, aqua and grey skies. Hand sculpted aloe leaves in a variety of glazes and textures finish off the theme.

Production Capacity:
The production capacity for the tableware range is approximately 230 pieces in an eight-week period. The production capacity for the hand sculpted aloes is approximately 10 – 20 pieces in an eight-week period.
