Nadav Kander creates unfailingly beautiful photographs with the formal precision of a master photographer through genres as diverse as portraiture, landscape and still life.

Crispian Plunkett started off studying at the Art, Ballet, Drama and Music School in Johannesburg. Deciding that he hadn’t quite found his creative niche, he went on to study photography at Durban Institute of Technology and achieved a National Diploma. It was only then that he knew he had found the medium where he could best express his creative impulses.

David Doubilet is honoured to have his underwater imagery considered to be among the best by editors, peers and colleagues the world over. He has photographed over 60 stories for the National Geographic magazine where he is a contributing photographer-in-residence.

Born in South Africa, Koto Bolofo was raised in Great Britain after his family was forced to flee as political refugees. Bolofo’s father, a history teacher, was found to have writings by Karl Marx among his teaching materials and was exiled for his supposed “communist practices”.

Alison Jackson is a fine artist. Besides showing her artwork in contemporary art galleries and museums, she also works in the medium of mass communication, such as TV programmes, films, advertising and books.
