Bill Moggridge is a cofounder of IDEO, a firm
that helps companies innovate through the design of products, services, environments and digital experiences. IDEO has offices in Palo Alto, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, New York, London, Munich and Shanghai. A Royal Designer for Industry, Moggridge designed the world's first laptop computer and pioneered Interaction Design as a discipline. He is one of the first people to integrate human factors into the design of software and hardware. His book Designing Interactions tells the story of how Interaction Design is changing our daily lives. Throughout his career Moggridge has enjoyed teaching, notably as visiting professor at the RCA in London and in the design programme at Stanford University.
