Hideki Inaba has distinguished himself by
following his instincts and expressing a personal
sense of "now". With his liberal style, free of
outdated stereotype, the self-taught Tokyo-based
designer and graphic artist has done work for
Nike, Sony, Walt Disney, Levi's, shu uemura and
Kenzo. He was responsible for the distinctive
look of the Gas Book series and the magazines
SAL and +81. In 2004 he initiated the personal
project Newline, which features his self-works
where clients weren't involved. He focuses his
attention on the expression of beauty, detail,
colours and movement.
