Li Edelkoort is one of the world's most acclaimed trend forecasters and lifestyle experts. From her Paris-based studio, she produces bi-annual trend books, predicting the future of form, colour and material for industries as varied as fashion, food,
architecture, automotive, interiors and cosmetics.

Edelkoort has received numerous awards,
including being knighted as a Chevelier des
Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry
of Culture. She is chairwoman of Design
Academy Eindhoven and founding art director
of Designhuis, the city’s first design museum.
Her Mediterranean and tapas concept restaurant, Laurier, is situated in Paris's Galeries Lafayette, and she is currently curator on A World of Folk, which opens in July as part of Stavanger 2008 in Norway.
