Inga Sempé

Product designer, Inga Sempe, graduated in 1993 from de I'ENSCI les Ateliers in Paris, France. While studying she received a scholarship at George Sowden's studio in Milan and after graduating went to work as a designer at Marc Newson's studio in Paris.

Over the next few years Inga's career took off and she created pieces like the Articulated lamp in 2000, Pleated lamp in 2002 and upholstered metal chair in 2003 and her Glass lamps in 2004.

She is however best known for her analogue digital clock. This new kind of time display has been once made into a prototype that has been patented.

She has exhibited extensively across the world, in France, Italy and China and has numerous international design awards to her name.

Inga is currently working on furniture and lighting for French Ligne Roset, lighting for Italian company's Cappellini and Pallucco and luggage for Magis.
