Product designer, Inga Sempe, graduated in 1993
from de I'ENSCI les Ateliers in Paris, France.
While studying she received a scholarship at George
Sowden's studio in Milan and after graduating
went to work as a designer at Marc Newson's
studio in Paris.
Over the next few years Inga's career took
off and she created pieces like the Articulated
lamp in 2000, Pleated lamp in 2002 and upholstered
metal chair in 2003 and her Glass lamps in 2004.
She is however best known for her analogue digital
clock. This new kind of time display has been
once made into a prototype that has been patented.
She has exhibited extensively across the world,
in France, Italy and China and has numerous international
design awards to her name.
Inga is currently working on furniture and lighting
for French Ligne Roset, lighting for Italian company's
Cappellini and Pallucco and luggage for Magis.
